I am doing research in Ecology of few wintering birds in Great Vedaranyam Swamp, Tamilnadu, India. I have completed collection of data. I am writing thesis now. During the course of my field visits, I found Little stints and Lesser Sand plover took rest on the mud in a peculiar way during day time. The events have been posted in WADERS-L. I want to know whether any other author had reported on this earlier. I also want to know the salinity tolerance limit of the chironomous larvae and production rate in fresh water and salt water per unit area and the season.

I have not collected literature after March 1995. I request that research reports already published on waders or on manuscript yet to be published authored after 1995 may kindly be sent to me for reference work.
