Hawks Aloft conducts a variety of avian research and survey projects in New Mexico. Each is designed to increase our knowledge of raptors, passerines, and the habitats they occupy. This information provides land managers with the necessary tools to make informed decisions about land use in their areas. Projects are conducted with a variety of partners: Bureau of Land Management, US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Turner Foundation, National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, US Forest Service, and others.
